BIO

EDNA SEY, singer of the vocal group The Sey Sisters, opens a solo gateway. This is her personal project, submerging herself in the composition of her own songs.

2015 is the beginning of this adventure  recording her first EP Just being Myself performing her show at music Festivals around Catalonia.

With the complicity of the black music producer Enric Peinado, EDNA SEY records her first LP STAY FOCUSED (RGB suports 2018), an album full of light and energy, that reflects her particular vision of soul and afro music heritage.

STAY FOCUSED is an elegant a powerful album that exudes love and positivity to ourselves an towards others, because “we got to love us first before loving someone else, that’s the way we can spread love without fear.”

Her first single Celebrate it claims the importance of enjoying and celebrating every success in our lives even the small ones. It’s time to appreciate us so we can reverse the negativity that’s weighing our society down.

After touring with her other projects around national musical festivals such as Festival etnohelmántica de Salamanca, el Festival Internacional de Jazz de San Javier, and Voll Damm Jazz Festival de Barcelona to mention some of them, international opportunities has opened for this new project  that has the need to move and grow without limits.
With STAY FOCUSED, EDNA SEY

offers a dynamic and powerful show, old school style: connecting her own original material with some meaningful and inspirational covers that lights her up. It’s not just about her powerful vocals, but about positive energy and connection with the audience.
